Love KCCI no matter where Im watching it - its the best! The iPad/iPhone apps are just great and Im able to stay up to date with home news while traveling.

Nice to have fairly quick access to important event coverage! I enjoy the additional articles and the expansions on the ones of interest. Great ap but the KCCI promos are far too long and too many. They are well done but way too much

I really enjoy The news stories and weather reports on your app. I am disappointed at times with incorrect wording or spelling errors. It seems to happen a lot. Overall I love using the KCCI app and will use it as my go to new source in the future.

I use it on all my devices, the best way to keep up to date on the news and weather.

I enjoy the news updates but dislike the introductory ads on easy story. If you had a way to see that a story had been reviewed, then not show that ad (whether for KCCI or a sponsor) again, it would make me check the news more often.

Have watched KCCI for past 15 years & LOVE the mobile app that keeps me connected!

Some bad moments

The app isnt as good as it could be. Too many adds and the pop up ads after the last update are very annoying. Come on KCCI, you can do better.

I thought journalism and reporting the news was supposed to be a profession. I dont know how this station wins these awards they keep claiming with the childish writing and editing. YOU HAVE ONE JOB!!! My 13 year old nephew can write and edit these stories better. I cant even finish reading some of the "news" they put on here. And about the ads......I know youre a business but come on, this is ridiculous. I shouldnt have to determine whats a story and whats an ad. You had a decent app a long time ago but some idiot decided it was for the best to go with this. Get your stuff together and get back to what youre here for.

This was my go-to site for local news until the obnoxious (and loud) automatic ads started. Now I can no longer use this site in my office or many other business locations because theres no way to turn off or stop these ads.

with the update they now force you to watch ads before even watching/reading a news article or seeing the weather. It is so ridiculous I have deleted the app and started using a different local news station!

Ive been a daily user of the KCCI app since it was created, but the with the new set up, its horrible and I really hope something changes!! Having no indication of whether youre clicking on just an article or an article plus video that will start blaring a loud pre-roll with no way to stop it besides clicking back out of the article is just dumb...even with your phone on silent. So much for ever trying to just read a local news story without possible surprise and interrupting all of those around me. Not to mention, how much data this app now uses due to forced loading of pre-rolls and videos...

What happened to the 8 day forecast that used to me at the bottom of the weather page? I depend on kcci for weather updates, but not I just as well use the app that came on my phone.
